Texas Creek
This is a city limit sign for Texas Creek, CO. This is a tiny town that only covers about 200 yards of highway along the Arkansas River. I like the way I was able to catch the city limit sign without getting any buildings, just the mountain in the background.
Graffiti- Tuesday Challenge
This is the graffiti art that is on the side of a local tattoo artist's shop. I like the way thay changed Colorado Springs to Colorado Blings, but I'm a nerd like that.

padlock- tuesday challenge
This challenge was about padlocks, which at first, I thought might be difficult to get creative with. I was at a nearby waterfall and when the shopkeepers for the visitor center were closing, I noticed that they were locking the windows with padlocks. I was able to get this interesting shot with the padlock on the bottom of the window and the waterfall in the background.
embroidery- macromonday
This is a nice throwback to the 2008 World Series. Baseball caps has some of the most recognizable embroidery in America. What is interesting about this is that I own both of those hats, so when the Red Sox played the Rockies, it didn't matter who won, I was going to be happy.
